About

My work has appeared on shows such as “Latino USA,” “Marketplace,” “Studio 360” and “The World.”  I'm currently a reporter and host at KBBI in Homer, Alaska.

In college, I taught theatre to inmates in Detroit and Brazil, igniting my interest in telling stories of the disenfranchised. I previously interned at “Stateside,” a daily magazine show on Michigan Radio and created and produced “The Feminist Fork.” This podcast, about the intersection of food and feminism, covered topics such as the connection between masculinity and barbecuing and the gendered politics of the restaurant industry. I have a master's degree in journalism from the University of Southern California.
